From new product launches and multiple SKUs to shrink sleeves and multi-layer labels, we have the technology and know-how to streamline the labeling process for your diverse packaging needs.
Our printing facility holds multiple certifications — ISO, L.I.F.E., and GMI — which means we’re continually improving our quality management, energy/waste, and color reproduction systems. Consolidated Label® is also a proud member of Sedex, a trade organization dedicated to responsible sourcing. With us, you can trust that your labels are printed with the highest quality and ethical practices.
I couldn't find anyone to do labels with the metallic finishes I needed for a client. Lucky, I found Consolidated Label. My order quantity was fairly small, but Amy did a great job saving us a lot of money by combining SKUs and working with us on sizes. The pre-press dept really knows their stuff as we were working with very tiny fonts (in foil!), and they still came out very readable. Colors were all spot on. Overall, very impressed with Consolidated and I highly recommend them, it's worth the extra couple days to have professionals do it right...and they save you money as a bonus!

Cari was great. Made sure I was ordering the correct type of sticker label for my project. Communicated very clearly. And... the stickers turned out amazing. This is my spot for my sticker and label needs.

We offer a variety of label materials made of paper, film (BOPP), or vinyl. Our paper stocks include standard white and metalized paper stocks, as well as specialty types like brown kraft, estate paper, wine stock, thermal transfer, freezer-grade, and all-temperature-grade.
You also have many film stocks to choose from — white, clear, metalized, holographic, pearlescent, and squeezable materials. Further customize your label, while adding a layer of protection, with a laminate or UV coating such as matte, gloss, satin/soft-touch, heavy-duty gloss, and imprintable varnish.
White BOPP film is like a blank canvas to make your label artwork pop or provide a clean, modern look. For an eye-catching effect, we recommend metalized stock and foil printing techniques to make your product shine on the shelves.
Another option to enhance your labels is with textures and dual UV coating to give your labels a unique tactile feel. Labels have limited space to display information, which is why we also offer high-quality multi-layer labels that peel back and re-seal with ease.
Your product’s use and storage location will influence which adhesive type to use. Many of our label materials come with permanent adhesives due to versatility, durability, and cost.
Permanent adhesives create a strong bond, making them ideal for products that need labels to adhere to for a long time. For product labels that will encounter harsher conditions, we recommend using a label material with an aggressive, high-tack permanent adhesive.
Removable adhesives are perfect for temporary labeling like promotional stickers and price tags. Repositionable adhesives offer a short-term removability within a time frame — best suited for labels that will be hand-applied. And lastly, wash-away adhesive labels are used primarily for containers that are meant to be recycled.
We understand that many products come in containers with large circumferences, which is why our printing presses can accommodate label widths up to 21.5 inches. Not sure what label size to order? Please give us a call at 1-800-475-2235.
If your product will be stored in bathrooms or kitchens, then your labels should be durable and water-resistant. Shrink sleeves and film labels have superior performance than paper labels when exposed to moisture, grease, or chemicals.
We can also add a laminate finish to the printed label to increase durability. Furthermore, consider selecting a high-tack permanent adhesive to prevent the label from curling off the container.
Yes! We offer a variety of specialty printing capabilities like metallic inks, cold foil stamping, multi-layer, texturizing, and more. Let our team know what you want to achieve and we’ll guide you to the right printing techniques and materials to get the job done.
In addition to custom labels, Consolidated Label® also prints shrink sleeves and flexible packaging for your products. Shrink sleeves elevate products by conforming completely to a container with 360-degrees graphics coverage. Flexible packaging — such as packets, sachets, and stick packs — is a portable solution that offers superior barrier protection and visual appeal.
We offer prototyping for shrink sleeves and flexible packaging so you can see what your finished product will look like before placing an order. Prototyping offers many benefits, such as detecting errors early to save time and money, improving team collaboration, understanding product functionality, and pitching your product.
Yes, we offer printed proofs on all orders for a small shipping fee so you can make sure the colors and print quality are to your satisfaction. We also offer sample runs for custom labels in quantities over 100. Please call our customer service at 1-800-475-2235 to set this up.
While we don’t offer application services or sell equipment, we’ll set up our print products in a way that works with your equipment (e.g. label applicators, steam tunnels, and form-fill-seal machines) for a smooth application process. Our support team can also help troubleshoot application issues to get your production back up and running.
Yes! You’ll have a dedicated rep assigned to your account, as well as access to our knowledgeable staff that’s available for any and all questions. Our support team is here to be used as a resource, and if we don’t offer what you’re looking for, like purchasing equipment or finding a graphic designer, we’ll point you in the right direction.
Tamper-evident shrink bands are one of our most popular security solutions. A shrink band around the container’s neck and cap can show when the product has been opened or damaged.
We also offer other measures to boost security and counterfeit protection, such as micro text techniques, “invisible” UV ink watermarks, and Izon security tapes. If you’re interested in our label security options, please give us a call at 1-800-475-2235.
From ordering to shipping, we exceed standards by following strict quality assurance checks. We also maintain multiple certifications, continually improving our facility so our customers receive superior products and reliable lead times. Our GMI certification and ISO registration are up-to-date, plus we’re part of the Target Packaging and Walgreens Packaging programs to reduce waste.
The Fair Packaging and Labeling Act (FPLA) requires that all “consumer commodities” be labeled to disclose net contents, the identity of the commodity, as well as the name and place of business of the product’s manufacturer, packer, or distributor. In addition to your branding and product information, you’ll need to make sure your label contents are compliant with regulations.
Labeling regulations are administered by a combination of federal and state agencies. Labeling for foods, drugs, supplements, and cosmetics is regulated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). It’s the responsibility of the product owner to ensure the information on their labels isn’t false or misleading.
