Product Security With Tamper-Evident Shrink Bands
Gives customers (and yourself) a peace of mind by using shrink bands on products to secure the contents from tampering and provide assurance that they’re safe to use or consume. Shrink bands are strips of film that are applied to the cap and neck of a container or bottle using shrinking equipment such as a steam, heat, or hybrid tunnel. We recommend that customers also use a steam tunnel because it uses less energy to run than other types of tunnels, produces better results, and is easier to configure to production lines. Steam tunnels are becoming the industry standard method of shrinking sleeves and bands onto filled product containers thanks to its relatively low temperatures (usually between 170-180 degrees) which make it safe for filled products to pass through.
We can perforate the shrink band in a V or T cut so that it’s easier for customers to remove whenever they’re ready to use the product.
