The Tag & Label Manufacturers Institute (TLMI) held its annual Converter Meeting in Naples, Florida, where companies that demonstrate excellence in business management are recognized. Top companies, as measured by a set of growth and profitability ratios that are calculated as part of TLMI’s annual Management Ratio Study, are rewarded with the Eugene Singer Award for Management Excellence.
This prestigious award has four categories: small company, mid-range company, medium company, and large company, with one company being awarded for each category out of nearly 100 TLMI members across the United States and Canada who participated in the study.
Sanford, FL-based label manufacturer Consolidated Label Co. received the Eugene Singer Award in the large company category at this year’s Converter Meeting. Company President, Joel Carmany, commented, “This is the 18th time we have won the award. It is attributable to the ongoing efforts of the company to continually improve all aspects of the business. The most important elements are the loyal and experienced employees and customers who really make us who we are.”
